March in a nut shell

I have just not felt like blogging lately. By the time I get any time I'm too tired and lazy...pretty pathetic excuse really. Anywho here is what's been happening with the Harris clan the past month: Mike did not get into the accelerated nursing program at the U, so we are in the process of house hunting /job hunting and looking at other schooling options, possibly out of state. As for me I'm just looking forward to some change...something new. Taylor... poor thing is going stir crazy and is just ready for some nice weather, she is such an active little girl being couped up is really hard for her. She is just getting over a nasty bug, which entailed a croupy like cough, niagra falls runny nose, and even some vomiting...yum. But I'm so proud of her because she didn't puke on the floor once, she made it to the toilet everytime. Speaking of toilets and Taylor, she is warming up to the idea of going #2 on the potty. She has been peeing in the toilet since last July but has really struggled with pooping. I think that I rushed her because I so badly wanted her out of diapers by the time Dax came, little did I know I was creating a much worse problem for myself. She had one bad experience with it hurting on the potty and decided she was just going to stop pooping all together. So after many suppositories, enemas, and Miralax I finally talked to the dr. and he said to just keep her on miralax daily for two months until she gets the confidence back that it won't hurt anymore. She has potty time twice a day and has been going just fine. Dax now has his two bottom teeth and a favorite new face to make where he just sticks out his bottom lip , its so funny. He also caught whatever Taylor has, (it's impossible to keep her away from him when she is sick, or any other time for that matter)and is still recovering, he has the saddest cough, boogery nose, and goopy eyes.

The new face he loves.

Taylor dug out this hat out from some D.I. bag, her favorite color is blue so of course we had to keep it. She wanted Dax to wear it.

Grandma came into town and took the grand kids to the outdoor expo, they had a good time.

On one of the nice warm days we had, Mike took the kids on a little ride on the 50. I'm a awesome photographer, cutting of his head.

Poor little sick kids. That is the worst. Dax is getting so big. I can't believe it. He is so handsome.
